With so many of our Council peers dealing with response and recovery for the current floods, Yarra Ranges Shire generously offered to share their learnings from their experience following the June 2021 storm that ravaged their LGA.

DRFA (Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements), record keeping, contacts with other levels of government and agencies, form completion and much more were be discussed during this practical conversation.

Thank-you to the team at Yarra Ranges who, in true FinPro style, have put their hands up and are happy to share what they have learned in the past 16 months so that others can benefit from that knowledge and experience.  In particular we thank Penni Thomas and Allison Southwell from Yarra Ranges SC>
