• An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to join Whitehorse City Council at a time of major growth in its community project developments.

  In this role you will be a pivotal link between the Finance and Project teams and ensure robust financial records and processes facilitate successful project outcomes. Key to success will be the capacity for development of strong business partnerships with the Major Projects, Capital Works and Asset Management teams. You will be responsible for the maintenance of Councils fixed asset register and asset management system, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of asset related data.

  You will be an experienced finance professional with a CPA/CA qualification and exposure to asset accounting and fixed asset register maintenance. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally. Your capability in best practice policy and procedure development will be key.
