• The Coordinator Financial Accounting and Recovery will be responsible for assisting with the effective oversight of Council’s financial accounting operations, including statutory financial reporting, asset accounting and working collaboratively across the organisation to ensure high quality financial deliverables. The role is also responsible for leading the effective management of Council Debt including monthly and quarterly reporting on outstanding Council debt and ensuring compliance with Council’s Debt Management policy across the organisation.

  This role ensures compliance with accounting standards and legislative requirements, supports sound financial decision-making, and contributes to the organisation’s financial sustainability through robust debt recovery practices and continuous process improvement.
