• This is a permanent part time position working a minimum of 45.6 hours per fortnight. The current base salary is $85,717 per annum (pro-rata) + superannuation.

  Warrnambool City Council is now seeking to appoint an experienced Accountant to Business Partner with the City infrastructure Branch at Council.

  This position will sit within the Finance team and you will be required to work alongside the Coordinator Financial Services to successfully deliver financial outcomes in an accurate and timely manner.  This will be done through the provision of competent financial analysis whilst complying with organisational policies and procedures and legislative requirements.

  Partnering with the identified internal business unit (City Infrastructure) to provide high quality accounting support and guidance will be a key responsibility for the successful Accountant. They will need to assist in preparing general ledger reconciliations, assist with the preparation of the Annual Financial statements, whilst providing guidance and support to other team members.
