• The Management Accounting & Analysis Coordinator sits within Council’s Finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager and leading the delivery of strategic financial management, business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting services across the organisation.

  This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing Council’s management accounting function and long-term financial planning framework, while supporting Executive leadership and business units through clear financial insights, analysis, and strategic advice.

  Leading a team of 4 direct reports including Finance Business Partners, an Asset Accountant, and a Systems Accountant, this role combines technical finance leadership with stakeholder engagement, coaching, and organisational influence.

  Core technical capability is essential. The role oversees budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, long term financial planning, and financial performance analysis, ensuring strong governance, financial discipline, and informed decision making across Council.
