FinPro Professional Development Day

Local Government Finance Professionals (FinPro) has many professional development opportunities, training and networking events organised for 2019.Our first event, a one day seminar, will be held on Friday 22 February 2019 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (next to Jeff’s Shed).  The venue is walking distance from Southern Cross Station, Spencer Street trams and Crown and there is parking nearby.

The seminar has a technical focus with updates from Local Government Victoria, Valuer-General’s Office and VAGO.  Both the Model Budget 2019/20 and the Model Financial Statements 2018/19 will be launched on the day (with a follow up free webinar in early March to cover these in more detail), guidance on the new accounting standards and a Key Note Address which will be presented by the Melbourne City Council Lord Mayor, Sally Capp.
