IFRS
We are pleased to provide you with a summary and guidelines to the new IFRS issued by the AASB. In conjunction with RSM Bird Cameron the full series of AASB will be progressively added to this website address.
While every effort has been made to ensure guidelines provide relevant and practical information in the Local Government context, care needs to be exercised when interpreting the information to ensure any conditions peculiar to individual councils are taken into consideration.
It should also be noted that the information provided by FinPro is a guide and where Councils require further interpretation or clarification of the standards they should seek independent advise. FinPro are unable to offer any additional support services to assist with the application of the standards.
