Local Government Finance Professionals (FinPro) offers professional development to finance professionals both within Local Government and to those who service the industry eg. Auditors, consultants, banks and superannuation funds.
FinPro provides at least one annual conference, two full day seminars and an AGM.
FinPro Conference 2010 - You can make a difference!
From the 3rd - 5th Marh 2010 Local Government Finance Professionals hosted the Biannual National Local Government Finance officers Conference. Over 200 delegates from around Australia attended the conference, held at the Novotel Forest Resort in Creswick, Vic.
The conference theme was ''You can make a difference!'' and the many speakers covered a variety of topics around this theme.
